Deidrea Rose Salabye

Deidrea Rose Salabye is Diné, of the Water’s Edge Clan, and comes to SWAIA from Window Rock, Arizona.  She is a strong matriarch with four children.  Deidrea has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is the Director of Rehabilitation at a hospital on the Navajo Nation.  Deidrea is an active member of her community, providing mentorship in education, sobriety, wellness and grief.  She continues to pursue modeling to demonstrate that as Native women: “WE CAN DO IT ALL!”  We don’t have to be just mothers, just professionals, just models.  As multi-faceted, powerful women, we can be all things simultaneously  and do so with strength and grace.
