Geo Soctomah Neptune

Geo Soctomah Neptune (they/them), a member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Motahkomikuk, is a basketmaker, drag queen, an activist, educator and Two-Spirit. Geo has been weaving since they were four years old, learning primarily under their grandmother Molly Neptune Parker. At eleven, Geo began teaching with their grandmother and the Maine Indian Basketmakers, with their first piece entering a museum collection a year later. Eventually, Geo became the youngest person to receive the title of Master Basketmaker within the Wabanaki Nations.
