Margaret Faliano

Margaret Faliano (she/her) is a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana who grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. and B.S. in Business Administration and International Studies and currently resides on Ohlone, Ramaytush and Muwekma land in San Francisco, CA. A model, singer and writer on the side, Margaret is a Campaigns Manager for IllumiNative, a Native women-led nonprofit, that builds power for Indian Country by uplifting Native stories, voices and movements on a national scale. As an urban Native, Margaret has always yearned to see accurate and contemporary Indigenous representation in society, especially in politics, media and fashion.
