Mona Bear

Mona Bear of the Menominee Tribe (Wisconsin) has been modeling since her arrival in Santa Fe, NM in 2008. This year will mark her 11th year walking for SWAIA. Mona is a part-time model for a high-end clothing company, and she also makes high-grade shipping containers for transporting fine art. Mona is an avid trail runner and is currently training for an upcoming marathon. She hopes to inspire others to blend strength with beauty and live their best lives. Mona is also learning silversmithing and beading from her extremely talented mother, Wendy Boivin.
